Tourism contributes 10% of the EU’s GDP and drives economic growth, employment, and social development. SMEs are key to offering unique experiences and boosting regional economies but face challenges like over-tourism, seasonality, workforce shortages, and the need for sustainable, digital, and resilient practices. PHOENIX 4.0 addresses these issues to build a greener, smarter, and more resilient tourism ecosystem.

Mutual Recognition of Professional Qualifications is an important part of the Internal Market of the EU. The alignment of the national legislation in Kosovo including the institutional structure with the EU Acquis on MRPQ will enable the citizens of Kosovo to practice their profession in another EU Member State after the accession of Kosovo to the EU. Furthermore, the EU directives on MRPQ are the basis for the Berlin process which will enable free movement of professionals in the Western Balkans countries.

The CBC Montenegro – Kosovo “Tourism for Future” project aims at contributing to the development of cross – border sustainable tourism through networking, introducing green key and eco standards, improving competitiveness and joint promotion.
The two -years project is implemented by Prishtina REA in partnership with IPER, Kolasin Municipality and Gjeravica, and supported by Peja Municipality The impact is the promotion of the participation of SMEs targeting EU certification systems, in particular, the EU Ecolabel and EMAS aiming at compliance adaptations necessary to request relevant and achievable internationally recognized certification schemes.

The main proejct goal when proposing the software solution is the base eID framework was the full compliance with the requirements of the ToR and with the recommendations described in the Technical Study.

Its key aim is to continuously increase its effectiveness in creating impact for SME clients and being able to adapting as necessary as needed to new SME’s facing challenges. Although, Prishtina REA through the initial EEN implementation phase installed the best EEN practices, as the EEN Kosovo coordinator (2022-2025). EEN Kosovo will continue professionally promoting EU policies and programmes, by collecting continuously valuable feedbacks from SMEs on the effectiveness of EU policies, providing functionally links between SMEs and EU policy making, while actively ensuring visibility, recognition and local awareness of EEN Kosovo activities and services.
QA Manual Tester and WordPress in Mitrovica assignment as a unique opportunity to support increased access to online knowledge sources, services and labor market of targeted youth, as direct beneficiaries, girls and boys, particularly young people, students, jobseekers and or registered at the local employment offices (16+ years old), aiming to render beneficiaries employable for Kosovo’s IT market and/or online freelancing platforms. The QA Manual Tester and WordPress training objective is making the youth beneficiaries- ICT enthusiasts and students become skilled up with needed knowledge thus, be prepared for job’s requirements and labor market needs in a small business.
The overall objective of the project is to enhance the competitiveness of Kosovo’s digital and traditional businesses by supporting growth of Kosovo’s ICT sector leading to growth and new job creation, in line with Kosovo ICT strategy.
The purpose of this contract is to bridge the digital and business skills gap in a sustainable manner that meets the needs of the market and increases the competitiveness of Kosovo’s digital and traditional businesses and to increase the export of Kosovar ICT businesses, and traditional businesses through the use of ICT.
