About the Hackathon

This fall, implemented by Prishtina REA, Kosovo joins the 10th CASSINI Hackathon — a Europe- wide initiative backed by the European Commission and the European Space Agency (ESA). Taking place simultaneously in only 10 European countries, this edition is delivered through the same platform, with identical criteria across all locations. Themed “EU Space Technology for Consumer Experience”, the event challenges young minds to use cutting-edge space technologies like Copernicus (Earth Observation) and Galileo (Satellite Navigation) to enhance experiences in gaming, sports, and tourism. The winning team from Kosovo will advance to the Final CASSINI Hackathon in Brussels, where they will compete with top innovators from across Europe. The Hackathon empowers university students, fresh graduates, and young professionals to build bold, space-enabled solutions — and we want you to be part of this impact.
